Fishing - Life Skill

Required Level - 10+
Fishing allows players to fish up items in the many rivers and bodies of water in Dragon Oath, as long as they have the Fishing Pole item Equipped.

Fishing will not consume any Vigor or Spirit

Amongst the fish you can use for cooking with this skill are other items you can fish up, including color used for making Dye, etc.

Some items fished up may also be required for quests at times so it's a good idea to pick up this skill.

The Fishing Skill can be learned by talking to Luo Yang Fisherman Fisher Jiang in the city of Luo Yang. Fisher Jiang is at location [207,184] on your Luo Yang map
Aswell as learning how to fish from Fisher Jiang, you can also purchase the required Fishing Pole tool from him or one of many other locations and get started Fishing right away

In addition you can purchase different types of worms or lures from certain vendors in cities to enhance your fishing experience. These worms grant buffs that do things such as increase the speed in which you fish.

You can also learn Fishing by talking to trainers in some of these other locations aswell.
