The first step to mining is to get the skill at the arms dealer in any of the three cities. You can see the arms guy by pressing the tab key and click on arms. you must be lvl 20.while mining you also will get other materials which you can process into lime. Which is used in the casting skill to make weapons. Each level of mining has its own ore and lime material and is used to make that level weapon. so it is advised to get minning along with casting. You also upgrade each level of mining at the arms merchant listed above after meeting the required Proficiency.
Level 1 can mine copper to upgrade your mining skills in any of the town listed below Wild Plains, Mt.Infinity, Dun Huang, West Lake or Twin Island. The Proficiency you must meet to upgrade to the next level is minning 15 copper. The Lime and copper are also used to make level 10 weapons
Level 2 ores are iron and can be mined in West Lake or Werewolf Plain the lime materials that you process here can also be used to make level 20 weapons. The Proficiency to upgrade to lvl three is 58.
Level 3 ores are Silver are in Werewolf Plain or South Yan the lime materials that you get while mining silver is also used for making level 30 weapons. The Proficiency to upgrade to level four is 142
Level 4 ores are called cold iron are in South Yan or DragonFountain. The Lime materials can be used to make level 40 weapons and the Proficiency to upgrade to level 5 is 281.
Level 5 ores are called gold and can be found in in Werewolf Hill or Dragon Fountain. Also you have to be level 50 to be able to upgrade to level 5 mining. The lime materials from gold can be used to make level 50 weapons and the gold can be used to make accesories. The Proficiency to upgrade to level 6 is 492
Level 6 ores are called weak iron ore however when you actual mine it is is called Scheelite and can be found in North Yan or Mt.Fire Rock the lime materials you get in while mining is for making level 60 weapons the Proficiency rate to upgrade to level 7 is 797
